What we collect
When you contact us through the website (lead form, contact page, or property inquiry), we collect the information you provide: your name, email, phone, WhatsApp number, country and nationality, the property you're interested in, your buying timeline, budget range, financing preference, and any notes you add. We also collect technical data your browser sends with the request (IP address, user agent, timestamp), used for fraud prevention and analytics.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, recommend properties that match your criteria, schedule viewings, and follow up on the broker relationship. With your consent, we may send you occasional market updates and listings that fit your stated interests. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with unrelated third parties.
Who has access
Inquiries are stored in our database on Supabase (our data processor) and are only readable by authenticated Vista Cabarete Realty staff. We may share specific information with third-party service providers we use to deliver our services (a Dominican real estate attorney handling your closing, a property manager handling your rental, an inspector or surveyor we hire on your behalf). We share only what's necessary for that specific service.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies for two purposes: (1) authentication for staff using the admin portal, and (2) Google Analytics (gtag.js) to understand which pages and listings interest visitors. Google Analytics may collect aggregate information such as page views, time on site, and approximate location. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep your data
We retain inquiry records for as long as you remain an active prospect. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so within 30 days, except where we are required by Dominican law to retain transaction records (typically 7 years for closed sales).
Your rights
You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion. Email us at info@vistacariberealty.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days.
Third-party data processors
We rely on the following services to operate: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (web hosting), Resend (transactional email), Google Analytics (visitor analytics), and Meta (social media analytics if you've engaged through Instagram or Facebook). Each of these is bound by their own privacy obligations.
International transfers
Our infrastructure is located in the United States and the European Union. By using our website, you consent to the transfer of your information to these jurisdictions.
Children
This website is not intended for use by children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
